I seem to always receive some sort of inspiration-sprak around the end and begging of each year ... It intrigues me and I embrace it. This year has been dark in so many ways - both in the world itself and both for creativity on my part. I can admit one thing though. Damn it's been years since I've written as much as I have this past year. Last autumn I decided to have part one of "The last Legend" finished by New Years Eve 2022; it is, merely some proof reading and editing to do (it's still resting and I'm re-reading it time and time again) and earlier this summer to inspire me some more; I decided to do a little something outside of nanowrimo but still using their website as help to keep track of things. Which in turn however ended with me not participating in this year's nanorwimo at all, sadly (partly because I knew I would be too busy during October/November) ... However I ended up writing a lot anyway during the first period I set up a goal to write 50k words for my story "Land of the dead" ... I've not yet reached that goal though (as I'm writing this I'm at 43k words) - but soon enough I shall and if my inspiration keeps up I just might finish it sometime early next year. As it is right now I have one and a half chapter left to write, two and a half if I feel like it. Which is quite exiting! It wasn't the story I had planned on continue working with from the very beginning this year ... Oh well, at least it feels like a great decision right now.
I guess I will see how it turns out, at least I'm enjoying my writing deep to my core and I shall keep following along in the flow I've found among the words.
