And I'm so surprised how well I made the lineart, since I usually don't work with lineart for my drawings, lol. It didn't even take all that long to make it! The only problem was all those damn details on her clothes which made it take forever for me to make it. And I mostly spent all the time on trying to get the anatomy as proper as I possible could ... Because let's face it - it's not fun at all to finish a picture where the anatomy is so off that it's viewable for even a person like me who isn't very good at human anatomy. And LOL, I really need to learn to use references while practising drawing humans ... If I don't do that I'll never ever learn how to do it without failing and without spending like nine and a half hours on just making the sketch, fixing the anatomy and making the lineart (yeh, you read it correctly, I've spent nine and a half hours on this picture as of now, and as you can see I'm not even close to being finished. I still have to colour her, shade and make highlights, and make the background before I'm done). So meh on me.
Also, I've decided that I don't like the dropdowns in the menu and have decided to make like small banners along with a small picture as well as the character's name for each "species" page on the site. So I've only made the one for Shinimi thus far (and omg how I hate my Photoshop CS atm, it crached while I was working with the first one and I hadn't saved it ... And I was just about done with it ... So I had to start allover again ... And I didn't dare to trust my good old CS at that time, so I went for Photoshop CS5, so I didn't have all my belowed brushes to work with a nice background in ... Makes me sad). But anyway, here's what the banner I made for him looks like, and I like it. The font I used feels so him.
